INTER-COLLEGE PROGRAM

For those who find it difficult to “limit” themselves to just one area of study, the Inter-College Program offers a degree-building way to earn this coveted undergraduate credential. In this program, you—with assistance from an experienced CCAPS advisor—will build the degree you want to earn. Explore your interests, gain an education relevant to rising and new career fields, chart your own course, this program offers a stratified way to pursue your passion while developing professional skills.

Inter-College Program Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science

Choose your credential path, either a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor of Science (BS). The BA requires coursework in arts, humanities, and social sciences. The BS requires coursework in hard sciences, quantitative or investigative paths, or have a pronounced applied or professional component.

For both degree credentials, you’ll split upper-division credits evenly among two-area or three-area degree options. Or pursue a thematic degree with 40 (BA) or 50 (BS) upper-division credits from three departments and two colleges.

APPLIED SCIENCES LEADERSHIP, MASTER OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES

The Master of Professional Studies in Applied Sciences Leadership merges management philosophies with expertise from specific applied science disciplines. You’ll gain both applied professional and practical technical skills. Coursework can involve studies taken from the College of Veterinary Medicine, the College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Sciences or the School of Public Health.

This program consists of two stackable graduate-level certificates as well as classes designed to show you how to synthesize the information gained through each certificate to your academic and professional goals. Through this CCAPS program, you’ll earn an MPS, a graduate certificate in Leadership for Science Professionals, and a graduate certificate in Integrated Food Systems Leadership.
