Grow Your Horticulture Career with a Graduate Degree Education
You want to see your horticulture career do more than grow—you want it to thrive. Horticulture is more than simply gardening on a larger scale. It is the art and science of cultivating and managing all types of plants: flowers, fruits, vegetables, ornamental bushes, trees, and more. With issues regarding climate change, a growing population, and dwindling land resources, the world needs people who know how to responsibly grow, maintain, and restore these natural resources. Horticulture experts like you are needed now more than ever.
HORTICULTURE, MPS
At the College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CCAPS), we offer an applied graduate degree that offers the edge you need to take your cultivating and your career to the next level. Rather than research, the Master of Professional Studies in Horticulture is focused on providing practical skills and insights you can apply directly to the growth and management of the plants in your care.
Plus, this program gives you the ability to customize your education, including the ability to create your own focus area. With help from your academic advisor, you’ll chart out a degree path to match your career goals in public garden management, restoration and conservation, sustainable landscaping, urban agriculture, or some other specialty field.
